Mullein Comfort

Category: Tea & Infusions
Mullein is the soft, velvety-leaved wildflower with tall yellow spikes, long brewed as a gentle herbal tea. Here its mild, hay-soft flavor is lifted with ginger, spearmint, lemon balm, and a touch of green cardamom. Pour it hot for a soothing, caffeine-free cup on a cozy evening.
On its own, mullein is quiet and grassy. The lemon balm brings a light citrus note, spearmint cools it, and ginger and cardamom add gentle warmth, so the blend drinks smooth and mellow rather than sharp.
Blended from mullein leaves, ginger, lemon balm, spearmint, and green cardamom. Caffeine-free, no sugar, no preservatives, and naturally vegan.
What does mullein tea taste like?
Mild and soft, a little like hay or fresh grass. In this blend it stays gentle, with lemon balm adding citrus, spearmint adding cool, and ginger and cardamom rounding it with warmth. The result is smooth and easy.
Should I strain it well?
Yes. Mullein leaf carries fine hairs, so brew it in a fine-mesh infuser or strain the cup through a small sieve. That catches the tiny bits and leaves the tea clean and clear.
Is it caffeine-free?
Yes. Every ingredient is an herb or spice, with no tea leaf, so the blend has no caffeine.
How do I brew it?
Use one teaspoon per eight ounces of water, heated to about 200°F. Steep for five minutes, then strain. Use fresh leaves each time you brew.
