Peach Apricot

Category: Tea & Infusions
Peach that drinks like a peach Italian soda: bright, sweet, and fragrant over a smooth black-tea base. Brew it hot for an everyday cup with a lift, or chill a strong batch over ice for a peach iced tea that tastes like summer.
Peach and apricot pieces sit over a black-tea base, with marigold petals for warmth of color. It steeps into a smooth, malty cup with a soft stone-fruit sweetness on top, more treat than tannin.
We blend and pack in small batches in Portland so the fruit stays fragrant in the tin. Blended from black tea, marigold petals, apricot pieces, peach pieces, and natural peach and apricot flavors. Contains caffeine from the black tea. No sugar, no preservatives. Vegan.
How do I brew it?
Use one teaspoon per eight fluid ounces of water. Heat fresh water to around 200°F, pour it over the tea, and steep for three minutes. Use fresh leaves each time you brew.
It tasted astringent. What went wrong?
Black tea grows bitter past its steep time. Hold to three minutes at around 200°F, and the peach and apricot stay forward instead of the tannins.
Does it have caffeine?
Yes, from the black-tea base. It drinks as a morning or afternoon cup rather than a late-night one.
How do I make it iced?
Brew it double strength for three minutes, then pour over ice. It reads bright and soda-like when served cold.
