Vanilla and warm spice over a caffeine-free base: soft, sweet, and dessert-like in the cup. Rooibos (South African red bush tea) carries the base, and ginger, green cardamom, and Ceylon cinnamon fill it out into a cup you can brew any time of day. Make it hot on the stovetop with milk for a cozy evening cup.

The vanilla does more than sweeten. It rounds the ginger and cinnamon and gives the cup a creamy edge that drinkers come back to. We blend it fresh in small batches in Portland so the spice stays bright.

Blend: rooibos, ginger, green cardamom, Ceylon cinnamon, natural vanilla essence. Caffeine-free. No sugar, no preservatives. Vegan.

How do I brew it?
Use one teaspoon per eight ounces of water in a pan. Bring it to a rolling boil for two to three minutes. Add milk at a ratio of one part milk to three parts water, then boil for another two minutes. Strain, sweeten to taste, and serve.

What does it actually taste like?
Warm, sweet, and dessert-like. The vanilla sits over the cinnamon and ginger, and the rooibos underneath brings a naturally sweet, faintly woody depth. If you want that base on its own, our plain rooibos is the same leaf without the spices.

Is it caffeine-free?
Yes. Rooibos comes from a different plant than tea and holds no caffeine, which makes this a good late-day cup.

Is the vanilla real?
The blend uses natural vanilla essence, which reads round and creamy against the cinnamon and ginger rather than sharp.
